Going crazy.

The whole of what I just wrote got erased fuckkkkkkk.
Anyways sorry for the rudeness. So right now I want to kill myself, I can't seem to focus I need Aderall or Ritalin. My eyes can't seem to keep on ONE single thing.

It's like I'm watching Britain's Next Top Model and every 2 minute I need to go to Facebook or Tumblr because I can't stand Charlotte crying (love her btw she should have been in the final two with Tiffany) or watching Joy's horrid face as she complains again and again. Arghh (I so shouldn't be watching right now but I only have 1 episode left & then I will mosdef stop).

I have officially two weeks left before my written exams start and I just want to kill myself. My old man can't seem to understand I am studying, just not at the right hours. When you come to a period of exams like this studying just seems more natural at 2 or 3 am in my bed with a City and Colour album setting the mood. Don't ask me why I don't know myself.

I should reassure myself since my teachers have been telling me I have the potential to pass with a good mark but I don't know it's still really scary and I want to give it my all. I wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't pass but I know how much easier my life will be when I do.

Wish me luck!!
(btw I won't upload as often in the next two weeks just pictures maybe).

Jason Mraz - Beautiful Mess

Lots of artists aren't as good live but Jason Mraz is so not one of them, he's handsome, he can sing and he's an amazing song writer a total inspiration to me.

Colonia

Saturday I went on a little one day trip to Colonia in Uruguay. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day. The town is quite small and you'll probably finish touring it in half a day, but since our boat left late we had to make the most of it.

colonia

The Buquebus going from Buenos Aires and to Colonia in 1 hour.
It's giant and quite full but comfy enough for the crossing.

Since it was quite early in the morning (around 9am) we found ourself
a café where we relaxed a bit for breakfast before walking around the town
for the rest of the day.

colonia

colonia

Coffee and Lemon Pie (not the best you can see from here the gelatine eww).

colonia

colonia

One of the many ports.

colonia

colonia

Colonia is very clean, and even with all the dogs walking around
it wasn't as dirty as in Buenos Aires.

colonia

colonia

The city is low and most of the buildings don't go
over 2 floors which gives it a warmer, village by the sea feeling,
reminding me of Italy or the south of France.

colonia

colonia

It's full of little cafés and restaurants, and though they are all cute and have a vintage feel to them, if you don't want to spend a fortune you should avoid them.

colonia

It also has lots of little shops, a craft's market with
local food products and hand made goods and other souvenirs.

colonia

We also went up an old light house which gave us a pretty good view of the bay
and the main streets (well at least the ones full of tourists). I recommend going to Colonia if you need to renew you visa more then Carmelo, at least there you won't get bored to hell even if you have a day to waste.

Friday 22 October 2010

Total boredom, I've been spending the past 2 days thinking of ideas for a photo-shoot for my new single and though I'm so ready to do it I've got this total lazy feeling that keeps winning over me.

This week has been harsh, between only going to the useful classes like Philosophy, History or Literature and boosting myself to study at home the last thing I want to do is jump in front of a camera faking energy (maybe I could do sadness or stress?)

Anyways I'll leave you with a photo that illustrates a part of what I've been eating (don't worry I cannot starve myself for the love of food) & this healthy change is apparently working as even my mother who isn't used to telling me this said my face looked thinner! Whohooo.

By the way thank you my few lovely readers it's been amazing getting comments as I'm not used to it. Hopefully I'll show my face in a few if I manage a good photo-shoot & not to much photoshop.

HURTS - Stay

OMG we're in Korea!!! P.2

korea town

Soon after lunch & roaming around the few supermarkets we grabbed ourself
a little cold desert to survive the growing heat. Luna discovered for the first time
Mochi Ice Cream! Which I had already tasted, in Japan last February.

korea town

For those who don't know what it is, it's basically little rice starch balls instead of sticky rice and a type of ice milk instead of real ice cream, most of them are green tea flavoured like this one though inside it also had walnuts.

Last refreshing snack before the 40min bus ride home
was a watermelon tube ice cream. Best every made!

OMG we're in KOREA!! P.1

Sunday my friend Luna introduced me to Korea Town, where we tried out the local
BBQ. I think it was one of the most exciting things we ever tasted since we're both poor students.

corea town

As you can see there are so many little dishes, and they wouldn't stop bringing more, I think we had to go through 20 maybe till we finished up!

corea town

As some of you know I am so not a big meat eater, I mean beef & pork, I just content myself on chicken and maybe fish but that day it was so amazing,
we just couldn't stop eating any!

After two hours of eating (yes really 2 hours of non stop eating) we headed down
the streets to check out the local markets.

Sea weed hanging from a shop's porch.

Inside the market was an overwhelming quantity of Korean food from fresh Kimchi, to packed goods like Tea, Miso, Kimchi mix and more.

And of course lets not forget Pepero the Korean Pocky which some of you may know as Mikado in Europe.
