Tonight is the New Year, some girl decided we should all dress appropriately because her boyfriend is a banker and she's a lawyer but well most of us through "screw her" we'll dress as usual. I'm going as a lumberjack (red plaid shirt + jeans + boots) I like screwing up parties. Jokin' (not).

I still haven't prepared a recap post but I'll get to it next week because I'm still looking for a flat and I don't have much time to spare. Tonight i'll take hundreds of pictures I'll hopefully post during the week.

WINTER SEASON: dresses

With the holidays coming up and the sales starting up I thought to make an article using only ASOS.com products (love the brand) since they're having free delivery WORLDWIDE for Christmas.

Anyways I selected 10 looks that would fit perfectly with the festivities. First off I have to admit I love giant structured dresses but you have to think: Is it practical? Can I sit in it? Can I eat in this? Yeah because we all know Christmas is about stuffing your face, drinking champagne, running around and dancing. You should always think about this when you buy anything or else it'll be useless.

I love these dresses but I have to say my favourites are definitely n° 1, 4, and 7, I'm a big fan of colourful dresses but I admit black and dark colours are better to me . Black dresses can be used in lots of occasion unlike when you take a very remarkable dress like the Yellow one which will be easily noticed if used more than once.

Anyways I was going to add a selection of different blazers and cardigans that you should check out too but I won't because this post is a bit long.
Just remember you don't put a velvet blazer over a velvet dress, if you wear a black dress (or any dark colour) try to add an eye popping top/blazer/pair of tights ... to mix it up.

Friday night the girls and I went to "fuck LE FASHION" a club where freaky and stylish meet. We've been going there for a bit less than a year now, and never were we disappointed.

Last night was Vale of Postcards of a Fashionista, Juli and Domi's first runway show.

As you may know if you follower her, which you should, Vale is now one of the 3 faces for The Class Remeras (T-Shirts) new campagne, designed by Matias Bognanni and called Young & Alive (The Smiths fans you'll know what I'm talking about).

We came to know the brand about 5 months ago, on a night out at "fuck LE FASHION" and saw the runway show for the winter collection, after that it's all history, we pretty much all fell in love with the brand, the quality and foremost the designs.

The Class really proves that statement T's are back in, and never go out of style.

thank god for fridays

Last Friday a few friends including Postcards of a Fashionista and I went to BLAKK a new event that will from now on replace AVANTT. I have to be honest because I'm not going to be lying to you, I was pretty disappointed, first with the change of location (not in Voodoo Hotel anymore) and the size of it and second of all with the music. But as time passed I noticed it got a bit better as the crowd filed in and the music got better (same DJ as AVANTT apparently).
I would give BLAKK a 2.75 or 3/5* considering AVANTT was more like a 4.5/5.

Anyways I didn't take much pictures probably 10 or so, so I'll just post 2 to satisfy your needs.

This is a review I chose to make on my own, it's just based on my personal opinions.

So yesterday was my friend Luna's birthday. To keep it simple I'll just explain that I have this view of birthdays that it should be ALL about you for at least 4 days to a week. And so last Wednesday the celebration started with my other friends and I bearing gifts for her.
In the afternoon we arranged that we would go to a special place for diner something Chic & Fun and so without telling her we brought her to an American Diner called Trixie. Here are the pictures from then on!

AVANTT CLUB 14.08

So last Saturday since I luckily had a 3 day weekend, the girls & I decided to go out to AVANTT CLUB @ Voodoo, the night started off with me cooking (failing to cook) Risotto & Vale making cocktails (she's has a gift at making them up). After a few hours we headed out the the club, which to our surprise was TOTALLY crammed since they still hadn't open the dance floor. We saw a few friends chatted and all, but I think that night though fun at times did have boring moments I'd rather have not had. Any-ways here are a few pictures! Enjoy!

Samedi dernier j'ai eu la chance d'avoir un weekend de 3 jours, alors les filles et moi sommes sorties a AVANTT CLUB au Voodoo, la nuit a commencé par un petit repas que j'ai concocté pour les filles (du Risotto raté) et Vale qui nous a fait des cocktails (elle a un vrai dont pour les inventer a partir de ce qu'il y a dans le frigo). Après quelques heures nous sommes donc parties au club, qui a notre surprise était TOTALEMENT bourré de monde car ils n'avaient toujours pas ouvert la salle de danse. Nous avons donc vu quelques amis, parlés un peux, en tout la nuit était assez bien mais il y avait malgré tout des moments ennuyeux dont j'aurai pu me passer.
Enfin trêve de bavardage voici quelques photos!
